A study done from 1976 to 2003 at the Copenhagen City Heart data was collected showing that regular jogging increases the expectancy for men by 6.2 years and for women by 5.6 years. The chief cardiologist of the study, Peter Schnohr found that jogging improves heart functions and reduces blood pressure. Moreover, the study shows increased insulin sensitivity, higher bone density, and prevents obesity and blood clots.
